Subject: Urgent Prayer Item (비상 기도 제목)
Dear brothers and sisters in the Lord,
We are very sad to inform the news that one of the teachers in Ottawao Primary School in Pailin, has been killed in a brutal robbery.
Yesterday, I phoned to Phannith. He said that a teacher of Ottawao school in Pailin, brother Kosal, was killed by robber by axe around 5 pm on the 3rd of September. According to Phannith, Kosal's body and motorbike has not found yet, but only blooded axe and shoes were found by policemen. He has been the teacher of Ottawao Primary school. Another teacher of Ottawao, brother Map, was thretened by someone and escapted to Thailand few days ago. We have been doing Ottawao School ministry from year 2002, with free education to the village people.
Kosal has been a Bible student of Phannith since year 2000, later he became a policeman and the teacher of the school. He was a faithful co-worker of Phannith, and also he and some members of Pailin Church attended this combinded summer camp of Kompongsom in August. He was engaged to a lady.
We seek you to continue praying for the protection of Gospel workers in Pailin, including Phannith and his family more fervently and unceasingly. And pray that the surviving family members find the comfort in the Lord.

빠일런 캄보디아 사역자 사망
(오따바오 국민학교 교사 꼿살 사망)
우선 다음과 같은 비통한 소식을 전하게되어 무거운 마음으로 소식을 전합니다.
9월 3일 오후 5시경에 오따바오 국민학교 교사, 꼿살(Kosal)이 강도에게 도끼로 살해 당했습니다. 그의 오토바이는 훔쳐갔습니다. 꼿살은 2000년도 부터 저희 사역자 파닛으로 부터 성경을 배워왔고, 경찰관이면서 오따바오 국민학교 교사로 일해 왔습니다. 그는 파닛의 신실하고 좋은 동력자였으며, 지난달 있었던 청소년 어린이 캠프때에도 캄퐁솜에 와서 많은 은혜를 받고 돌아갔습니다.
사체와 오토바이는 발견되지 않았습니다만, 그의 신발과 피 뭍은 도끼가 경찰에 의해 발견되어 사망한 것으로 보이며, 그 학교에서 같이 사역하고 있는 교사 맙(Map)씨도 어떤 사람으로 부터 위협을 받아 몇 일 전에 태국으로 피신을 갔습니다. 크메르 루즈의 마지막 아성이었던 빠일런의 복음화에 정말 사탄이 많은 방해 공작을 하고 있습니다. 빠일런에 새로 짓고 있는 한마음 교회는 공사가 50% 진행 되고 있습니다.
파닛과 그의 가족, 그리고 동력하고 있는 여러 교사, 각 학교 교장 선생님들의 안전을 위해서 특별히 기도 하여 주십시요. 그리고 꼿살의 남은 유가족들에게 하나님께서 주시는 은혜로 말미암아 구원을 얻고 큰 위로가 있기를 위해서 기도해 주십시요.
